NEW ORLEANS– The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference announced Wednesday that Chase Lovick was named Baseball Player of the Week for his performance last week. The outfielder led the Knights with four runs scored over four games, including five hits and a .333 batting average. He reached base nearly 45% of the time at the plate and had an impressive .667 slugging percentage.

For its inaugural season, the Knights are off to a hot start.
