Recently elevated to men's basketball associate head coach but not unfamiliar to SUNO athletics Kevin Dorsey has been the assistant coach since September 2022. Prior to his time at SUNO he received his bachelor's in psychology at Adams State University before arriving at SUNO to receive his master's degree in criminal justice. As of now he is pursuing a second master's in clinical mental health counseling.

Dorsey is also a former SUNO Knight as he was a part of the basketball team who in the 2018-19 season helped take down the 2nd ranked Talladega Knights in the GCAC Conference Tournament.

Dorsey’s experience in SUNO athletics and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Conference makes him a great fit for the SUNO Knights.
