Knights Defeat Ambassadors, Sweep Series

In an impressive display to wrap up the series, the SUNO Knights defeated the Oakwood University Ambassadors with a final score of 16-6 on Saturday.

The Knights set the tone with a 4-run blast in the first inning, establishing a lead that proved too much to overcome. Oakwood University attempted a rally in the second inning, closing the gap momentarily. However, SUNO's consistent performance and strategic plays kept them ahead.

Kyler Shepherd was a standout in the game, scoring three runs and grabbing four stolen bases, a crucial part of SUNO's strategy. Brandon Watson made significant contributions with three hits and two RBIs, proving essential in the Knights' offensive strength. The team's dynamic offensive was further supported by multiple players who delivered exceptional performances, including Kerrigan Edmondson and Miles Bowens.
