SUNO Knights Dominate Philander Smith Panthers in HBCU Athletic Conference West Division Showdown
In an overwhelming display of power, the SUNO Knights clinched a convincing 22-4 victory over the Philander Smith Panthers at Lamar Porter Field in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Saturday.
From the outset, the Knights took control of the game as Damian Lantigua and Kerrigan Edmondson scoring multiple runs. Brycen Dartez started at pitcher, playing a key role in maintaining the Knights' lead by shutting down the Panthers' attempts to rally. Alongside the offensive show, notable performances included Dylan Jimenez, who not only scored three runs but also drove in three more.
Dartez picks up his second win of the season, giving up just one run, three hits, and no earned runs. He struck out two batters and threw 39 strikes on 68 pitches.
